Hello Rio!

As some of you would remember, last October, I was given the opportunity to make an appearance in the TV show, ETCETERA, as a “featured blogger” along with Camille Co (see the blog post HERE) Fortunately, unexpectedly, recently– I got asked for a second appearance but this time as a “host” for a couple of endorsed segments! Here’s the behind-the scenes look at the SmartBro Rocket Plug-it Chic (pronounced as “shik”, not “sheek”) shoot: 

I’ve never done anything like this before, so the project came as remarkably shocking news– shocking, both in a good and not so good way. Because along with the excitement came a whole lotta worries. Hesitations had filled my head from the moment I got asked for the part up until the shoot day itself. I was nervous! :/ To feel inadequate was inevitable. I got attacked by the same old “first time” feeling. And if it weren’t for God’s grace, I would’ve just backed out. So, thank You again, dearest Dad. :)

I’m truly very happy for this privilege, and I thank God especially for everything. If I had backed out, I could’ve missed out on meeting new acquaintances, learning from industry professionals, being corrected and taught a few good lessons, and much much more!

It might have been a tiny bit scary, nerve-wracking, overwhelming, humbling… but nevertheless, very much enjoyable. :)

And even more so since I was tasked to play the part of a very perky, highly energetic, fashionista / blogger / girl-on-the-go! It made the whole thing even more exciting :) Happy vibes all the way! I seriously had to keep my smile going the whole time for the takes! It was kind of the most important requirement. I couldn’t feel my jaw anymore by the end of the day haha!

To the people behind the production, the whole staff and crew, I sincerely thank you for casting me for this!! :) :) :)

Catch ETCETERA on ETC channel every Sunday at 7:45pm. The first segment we shot was already aired last Sunday, February 19 and will be replayed throughout the week until February 25, Saturday. The second segment will be aired in March . :)

Super duper thanks also to SmartBro too for gifting me with my very own Rocket Plug-it Chic!! I love love love iiiiiit!!! Very… chic, mobile… and fast!!! :) IT’S PERFECT!
