I first picked out this dress from Sugarlipsapparel.com because of the ethnic print. I really like it! And I ended up liking more than just the print when I finally received it. For one, because it’s loose and modest. Two, because the fabric is light and easy. And three, because it is well-made. So yeah, I think I’ll be wearing this more often than expected. :)
And can I just mention… I adore this necklace so much! It’s big, and brown and blue and pearly! I just love everything about it. Dear necklace, prepare to be abused. Thank you, Things That Matter! :)
A work day look. Just an easy dress spunked up with a handful of accessories in gold and mother of pearl for that classy appeal. I made sure to pop in tan-colored pieces too to break the black and beige monotony.

It’s been crazy lately. Been preoccupied with updating the blog and planning Hello Rio version 2.0 (which we will launch in September!), handling design projects, working on my PEFTA entry (due tomorrow!!!!! ohmygoodness) and now, I gotta add, I have to start preparing for Bloggers United too. But despite the stress, I’m glad that I am able to maximize this school break and do a lot of other interesting things. More than anything, I am happiest and most grateful because I have this privilege to do what I love to do. So thank you, Lord. :)
Come June.. more stress! Yay! haha :)
